My father worked in industrial refrigeration and my mother started her own engineering consulting firm with a niche focus in railroad engineering. As the son of two engineers, it seems I was destined for the A/E/C industry. I attended the University of Southern California (USC), where I was enrolled in a progressive degree program in civil and transportation engineering. Two degrees later, I began my career as a railroad alignment designer and became a licensed professional engineer (PE) shortly thereafter. In 2012, I responded to the firm's growing need for sales and marketing assistance, writing proposals, and winning new business. This focus on building internal and client relationships launched a new passion and full-time commitment to marketing and business development. In 2015, I was one of four family partners who established a small drone company, where I served as a licensed remote pilot and BD professional. My wife and I relocated to the greater Portland area the day after Christmas 2018.
